SUP:Stand Up Paddleboarding
Stand Up Paddleboarding Clinic
8 and older
This class is designed as an introduction to the sport. Participants will learn proper paddling, safety, maneuvers, and familiarize themselves with Stand-Up Paddleboarding. SUP is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. It utilizes a one-bladed paddle, while standing on a normal length surfboard. SUP has moved out of the surf zone and into inland waterways around the country. Flat water SUPing is a healthy, low-impact, and environmentally friendly paddle sport that appeals to both the young and the young-at-heart. Space is limited to 10 participants, so pre-registration is required. Instructor: Audrey DeLong.
