WSI TRAINING including Fundamentals of instructor training
Become a certified swim instructor. Pre-requisite: 16 years old, level IV swimming ability, student must pass a pre-course water skills test. Certificates are valid one year & may be renewed with teaching rosters submitted.

TopLifeguard Instructor Training
This course will prepare qualified participants to train instructor candidates to teach basic-level Lifeguarding, Waterfront Lifeguarding, Waterpark Lifeguarding and Shallow Water Attendant (all including first aid), Lifeguard Management, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Bloodborne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission and Basic Water Rescue courses. Instructor candidates also will become familiar with GuardStart: Lifeguarding Tomorrow and the Water Safety presentations. Lifeguard Instructor Materials must be purchased from www.shopstaywell.com prior to the start of class.
Pre-requisites:
Be at least 17 years of age on or before the last scheduled day of the instructor course.
Possess a Fundamentals of Instructor Training Certificate issued within the last year or possess a current National Health and Safety Services Instructor Authorization Certificate.
Successfully complete the precourse session. This includes passing the pre-course written exam with a score of 80 percent or higher for each of the three sections and demonstrating competency in the pre-course skills scenarios evaluation. All skills are from the American Red Cross Lifeguard course.

Become a certified Lifeguard. Pre-requisite: 15 years old, level IV swimming ability, student must pass a pre-course water skills, swim 300 yards continuously, swim 25 yards retrieve 10 lb. diving brick in 10 ft. of water.

TopBaby sitter's Training
6th-9th grade students, ages 11-15
Are you new to baby sitting or looking for a way to expand or polish your skills? There are certain basic abilities and knowledge that every parent wants in a responsible baby sitter. While learning from experience is important, there are also a variety of training programs that can prepare you to begin baby sitting or help you become more competent. One of the largest and best-known programs, the American Red Cross Baby sitter's Training is an interactive class led by an instructor, in which participants learn by doing. The course teaches how to:
- Interview for a baby sitting job
- Choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games
- Carry out basic care such as feeding, changing, and holding
- Perform basic first aid
- Ensure a safe baby sitting experience, and more.
